In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality professional and executive-level candidates, promoting the Sony brand across numerous markets and professional communities and maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers and candidates, while guiding both through the selection process. You will accomplish these objectives by maintaining knowledge of key market trends in order to provide best practice suggestions on sourcing, negotiation, networking, employment branding and key drivers to talent and by developing and maintaining knowledge of the company, department, competitors and the marketplace, providing candidates with information necessary to accurately evaluate our positions. Your specific responsibilities will include:
�Partner with internal Senior Talent Advisors (recruiters) to understand business needs and leverage available tools
�Develop research and sourcing approach for immediate staffing needs as well as building candidate pipelines for long-rage goals
�Utilize various sourcing channels to identify qualified passive candidates through internet research, networking, data mining, etc.
�Review resumes and qualify candidates through phone screens and references in order to provide top candidates to the Recruiters
�Ensure a positive experience for all leads and candidates beginning with initial contact, as well as maintaining ongoing relationships to candidates to attract them and keep them �warm� in the pipeline

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The Security Officer provides for the safety of visitors, employees, and animals, and protects Society property. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and report writing skills. Computer proficiency required. Ability to use security-related equipment is necessary. A minimum of two years Security, military or law enforcement experience is required. Firearms proficiency a plus. Applicants must be available to work any shift and any of the seven days of the week. Successful applicant will be required to complete a written report and pass a background check.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have a valid guard card.
-Must have or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire a valid pepper spray permit.
-Must complete the approves first aid/CPR course within 2 weeks of hire.
-Must have a valid California driver license.

One of the essential functions of this position is the ability to drive a SDZ Global vehicle. If you are offered employment in this position, you will be asked to authorize SDZ Global to access your current driving report through the DMV’s Employer Pull Notice Program. Your hiring for this position will be contingent on SDZ Global receiving an acceptable driving report from you. In addition, your continued employment in the position will depend on you maintaining an acceptable driving record. You may obtain a list of conditions that disqualify a person from driving an SDZ Global vehicle from a Human Resources Representative.

A Life Science degree, college education in a related field and/or experience or equivalent specialized training is necessary.
